The house is large, well kept and immaculately clean. Spotless throughout. All the facilities you could wish for and loads of nice little touches. We liked the photo album that shows before and after pictures of the place being done up. Brilliant job! The pool and hot tub were both excellent. Extremely well maintained and cleaned every single day by Dave. The outdoor area is large with beautiful views, has an array of seating options and a gas BBQ. The local supermarket is small but adequate and the closest restaurant is the best in the village. We had a wonderful time and Carol and Dave were fantastic hosts. Very helpful, friendly and attentive.

Amazing stay in this beautiful villa.

The location was great, beautiful views of the coast & Mojacar Pueblo. Stunningly clean, I’d liken it to hotel level in a self catering villa. Provided shower gel/hair products which saved taking them with us. Beautiful basket upon arrival & wine, water & milk in the fridge. Even a cake for our daughter who was celebrating her birthday, which was really thoughtful. Pool cleaned everyday & option to have villa cleaned & beds changed throughout the stay. Robes & slippers provided, loads of seating outside in different areas. Dave & Carol were so helpful & couldn’t do enough for you.

− The only criticism was the AC. It turns off after 2 hours & you have to reset it. Not ideal during the night when we had really high temperatures. I understand the need for this during the day when people may leave the AC on but at night it needs to be able to run throughout.

Uncomfortable in the heat despite lovely setting

The property is set in a stunning location, impeccably clean, and conveniently close to three restaurants and a supermarket for everyday essentials. The outdoor space is exceptional, with beautifully maintained grounds and a fantastic pool area that’s perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for home cooking, and the outdoor grill area is a great bonus. Bathrooms are stylishly designed and finished to a high standard, adding a touch of luxury to the stay.

− We stayed during a heatwave and unfortunately found the air conditioning setup quite limiting. It's only available in two of the bedrooms and operates for a maximum of two hours at a time, which made sleeping difficult until the weather cooled down. The owners explained that the timing is preset by the engineer and couldn’t be adjusted, though they did try to help by providing two fans. Sadly, this didn’t make a significant difference during the hottest nights. I would have paid more, to have air conditioning 27/7 during heatwave. Another inconvenience was the location of the dishwasher—it’s not in the kitchen but in the laundry room, which requires going up steps and through another area. This made it impractical for daily use, especially when carrying dishes. Dishwasher should be move to kitchen, there cupboard under the sink is empty, why it hasn't been done? The property is beautifully decorated, but many of the ornaments are delicate and numerous, which feels a bit impractical for a holiday rental. We ended up storing several items to avoid accidental damage. Lastly, while the beds were beautifully presented with blankets and duvets, they weren’t ideal for summer temperatures. Lighter bedding would have been more appreciated.

The most perfect stay in Bedar

Everything about casa miramar is perfect. It’s right in the centre of Bedar so everything is walkable, the kitchen had everything we needed and was immaculate. The pool and jacuzzi was superb and the bedrooms were large and light and well decorated. The perfect stay.
