Nice house with plenty to offer but it's located up a steep hill.
9.0The house was spacious and comfortable. Had almost everything you need for a self catering holiday. Beds were comfortable and the house well maintained. Provided dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder, some milk on arrival. Location wise it's within a 5 minute walk into the town center which was very handy. Garden wise it's not the biggest but it is nice and well kept. We didn't use it much as we were out most of the day.
− Location wise it's up a steep hill. We were okay with it. Nice exercise after dinner! However I wouldn't recommend it if you have walking difficulties.... It would be great if there were some fans available for each room during the warm weather. I had my own fans which I brought with me. But if I didn't it would have been a bit uncomfortable.

8.0Brilliant, quiet location yet still only a few minutes walk from town centre. Comfy beds, which were perfect after a day’s hiking, very good shower. The house had everything we needed for our trip.

10.0Great location so close to all the shops and pubs but nice quiet road. The bungalow itself is lovely, spacious and clean. Beds were really comfy, bathroom was spacious and modern etc. First time bringing my 2 year old daughter to the lake district and we had a blast!
− Garden is a bit small but if you’re in the lakes you’re never there in the daytime anyway, you’ve got a whole playground of natural beauty surrounding you.
