Lovely location. Just some tweaks needed.

Loved the lake & the use of the boat. The kitchen had plenty of utensils. Loved the dogs being allowed to stay. Convenient location, close to the beach which was a very short drive away. Nice touch of the drink & biscuits on arrival. Loved watching the many many birds and the deer that jumped and then walked through the large and enclosed garden!

− The kitchen & bathroom could do with some updating with no extractor fan in bathroom or a blind. The kitchen had a bizarre smell, the owner was going to sort out when i let her know (which i didnt till we left, so not her fault) Multiple lampshades were very dusty and the duvet was stained. The fire had ashes left in. Wasnt clear at booking that dogs are to stay downstairs. Would have been nice to have some garden furniture available for us all to sit outside on the few sunny afternoons we had.

Living room bits left

− Description deceptive, no beech, no swimming pool, bathroom downstairs needed updating mold on shower screen bottom of , no blind in bathroom, microwave rusty! And dangerous!!! Steep stairs . Feel resentful and ripped off - cant be the only one! Garden not enclosed, we feel cross about this all, towels only two left one in bathroom scratchy

Lovely quiet location.

− Nothing really, the stairs are a bit steep and narrow so not for anyone with limited mobility, and the low doorways did remind me these cottages werent built for tall people, but these are minor points and common to properties of this type and by no means a criticism of this lovely cottage.

Just felt like being at home with lots of little touches, communication with host was perfect and we were left in peace and quiet which was what we needed.

Absolutely loved the cottage and location. Loved the access to the swimming pool nearby, which we used 3 times. Very nic

We loved the location, near lovely countryside and a number of very accessible family beaches. The cottage was very practical and comfortable for our young family of 5, and had everything we required for our week’s holiday at the seaside. Communication with Sarah was easy.

− Very minor points for feedback. Shower pressure/ head could potentially be improved, was a bit tricky to position and pressure was weak. Temperature possibly a touch high, as always very hot! Some more clothes pegs, to hang out beach towels, bath mat etc. however these were very minor points and did not detract from our stay !
