Lovely apartment, great host, beautiful master bedroom

Host was very friendly and amenable and answered my calls quickly and helpfully. Lovely hamper of goodies on arrival including sun cream. Fans were provided in the bedrooms. Main bedroom was large and whole apartment was very tastefully decorated. Host allowed us to check in early (1pm) and to check out late (12pm) which was very convenient

− whilst the location was good in terms of it being a 15 minute walk to the beach, the direct surroundings didn't feel so safe for a lone female at night

Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und Raumaufteilung mit zwei vollständigen Schlafzimmern war als Familie sehr praktisch, die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Parkplatz an der Unterkunft auch gut, viele Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Jack, der Host, war sehr gut erreichbar und hat schnell reagiert und die Wohnung noch einmal grundgereinigt nach dem ersten Tag. n

− Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und die Nachbarn über uns waren nachts sehr laut, was guten Schlaf schwierig gemacht hat. Mit kleinen Kindern war die Gegend nicht das richtige für uns.

Great wee apartment

The apartment was in a great location a maximum 15 min walk from the train station, 15 from the town centre and 20 mins to the beach. Close to bars and restaurants. Really nicely decorated with comfortable beds and everything you need for a stay. I had a minor issue on the first day and Jack was really quick in sorting it out with easy communication. Would definitely recommend.

Very quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable so I slept like a baby. Good kitchen equipment including decent kitchen knives. The hosts were very helpful and made it easy to find our way in.

− One neighbour in a flat one floor up was very noisy coming and going in the late evening, with their feet on the stairs and landing heavy objects on the floor of the flat above. Sound proofing must be minimal, but there was no further noise from there the rest of the time. Only one set of keys was provided which was a bit annoying because it meant we had to use the rather fiddly key box throughout our stay. The location was a bit further from the BIC than the description implied and the walk had nice parts and less nice parts.

What a fantastic experience! The hosts were so easy to reach, open to answering all questions, and responded within 5 minutes or less. The apartment itself was beautiful. Decorated to a level that made it feel like "home" but a very deluxe home. We were blown away by what was already included in the house from full utensils, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower! We stayed during a very hot period in August, but the apartment remained cool. The free off-road parking was a real plus! The location is ideal, allowing you easy access to Bournemouth but also to the bus route should you want to venture further. We had a wonderful experience as a family, and my 5 year old was very settled in the apartment, which was the most important.

− Coming from the Netherlands, we weren't so used to hill inclines... we learnt some new skills trying to park the car!
