Gorgeous cottage in a superb location.
10.0The location was excellent with lovely views up the hill. Right next to Askham Stores which has some delightful local luxuries as well as all the essentials. Easy walk to either of the two pubs in the village, both of which serve delicious food.
− I would have liked a broom to sweep the floor downstairs but I did find a dustpan and brush so that worked (that says more about my messy family than this impeccable property lol)

Lovely countryside cottage in peaceful Askham
10.0Lovely place with everything that you need for a short stay. We were attending a wedding so it was ideally located for that and the local shop being next door is exceptionally convenient.

My only small criticisms would be that there were no spare light bulbs - two failed during our stay - and the very elegant induction hob had no instructions, which wasn't too problematic but the thing simply isn't intuitive! And it's also very difficult to clean properly...
− As above. Perhaps a bathrrom cloth for daily cleaning, an extra tea-towel for drying up, and the spare light bulbs. Otherwise very comfortable and luxurious.
