8.0It’s an perfect holiday house. Hidden in the trees with a nice garden around. Walking distance from the beach, we saw a koala in the tree right at the corner of the street, and wallabies hoping in the back yard. Nice hikes availables right from the house as well. Very quiet at night.

10.0Charming older beach house type construction, beautifully appointed with thoughtful improvements. Lovely beds, fully air-conditioned, nice furnishings - not glamorous or luxury, but clean and comfortable. Quiet area, with almost no street or night-life noise. Close to everything ( it is Maggie Island, after all). Nice gardens that attract a variety of birds and, yes, butterflies. This property lives up to its name, and we saw Ulysses, Cairns Birdwing, and Black Orchard butterflies, to name a few.

10.0We had a fantastic stay at Butterfly house. The location is brilliant , very quiet, and short walk to the beach and restraunts in horseshoe bay. Older style property with an original kitchen, which makes the property quite charming. Nice big dining table that is perfect to gather for dinner or play board games. Bedrooms are large, comfortable beds and clean crisp linen. The property is very clean, well kept, and very relaxing. As stated in the description, there is no wifi. The signal for mobiles can be quite limited in horseshoe bay. However, this was a great opportunity for us to have a tech detox 😊
− If you are worried about not having wifi, bring additional entertainment like board games and DVDs.
