The interior of the house and furniture was clean. The porch could have used a good sweeping.

− The tap water was brown and the water in the toilet was orange. Bring plenty of water for drinking and cooking. Ants were on the countertop and were coming from the back of the stove. Killed numerous of the ants. The spa was located down a muddy path and we were advised that you had to start your own log fire to heat up the spa. As stated in the property instructions it was difficult to find. It didn’t help matters that the signage was partially covered by foliage. The fire pit was surrounded by tall grasses.

I absolutely loved the cottage. Honestly the worst part about it was that it rained the two days I was there so I didn’t get to enjoy any other the outdoorsy stuff. I was really looking forward to sitting by a campfire! The bed was super comfortable, heat/cool control, full kitchen, (included some spices) separate TV room, in the woods, but accessible to stuff. Full bathroom w hot water. It was a really great stay. Also love that I was able to call with any concern and someone was always available when I called.

− My biggest complaints would be that I wish they would add more signage. I missed my turn because my gps told me to turn prior to my actual turn. Second minor complaint would be that the sofa in the tv room has a super dent which makes it uncomfortable to sit in, especially if there are two people sitting on it. And the only other complaint, would be there there were tiny ants in the kitchen that did manage to get into everything. But it’s nature, it’s expected, NONE of my above complaints would stop me from renting again! Money well spent.
