8.0Loved the setting in the countryside
− Couple of things could have been better. Could have done with drawers in room & a we freshen up,paint wise. Restaurant some over our food was over cooked & dry. Staff were very pleasant but not so attentive when waiting for service at numerous points throughout the day. Tables could have been cleared,bins full & food on the floor
Three night stay
7.0Staff are friendly and helpful Great breakfast and good Evening meals. Comfortable bed and our small dog is always welcome Dog biscuits and water in restaurant.
− White voil on window was filthy and stained. The window sill was covered in dust and dirt as was the wood on the glass panes. Dead flies stuck to plaque on window sill. Extractor fan in bathroom not working making it very hot in there.

− Not so much I didn't like it but some of the decor could do with a good clean and painting, example passageway doors and toilet in the bar.

6.0The Hotel was in an amazing location for us, only a 3 minute drive to a family members house. Right next to team valley and low fell for easy access to shops. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help. I love that it is dog friendly and the location of the rooms, having direct access to the room instead of walking through the hotel or pub was great. The bed was comfy and there was a couple extra pillows which was nice.
− The room was much smaller than I was expecting the website says " unpack your things and store them away in the spacious wardrobes, ready for you to relax". There was no room to unpack, there was no drawers, no doors on the wardrobe and the room overall was very snug. There was no proper lock on the door, there was a chain but someone could still open the door from the outside. It didn't feel the most secure especially as we outside the hotel. The room needed a good dusting, and deep clean. There was no running cold water in the bathroom tap, only very hot water. Only received 1 bath towel on arrival. The room was boiling hot, thankfully the staff gave us a fan but it was still a struggle to sleep. If I was to return I would bring my own fan and stay in a larger room.
