Magical Post and Beam Loft Downtown Newport!♡

The apartment was quiet and very comfortable, a great place to unwind after a busy day in Newport.

The apartment was really cool and well designed on the inside. Our beds were comfortable and the kitchen space and coffee nook were great. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was easy to use with great pressure. Hosts were easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

− The entry instructions need to be rewritten to better communicate how to access the apartment. The instructions on how to lock the door were not correct, although it was straightforward to figure out how to operate the keypad and do so. Some new towels would be great. Those provided were thin and at times scratchy, and there was not a hand towel in the powder room (at least that I could find). Some hangers in the closets would be nice.

The location was great and the accommodations very spacious and lovely.

The Airbnb is quite different, and not in a horrible way. A mix of high end ski lodge x soho downtown loft. Beautiful, well equipped kitchen. Two different sized decks to sit out on should you choose. Certainly plenty of space for a family of 3 - 6. No need to do too much driving especially if you are shopping, eating, etc.. on or off Broadway. Plenty of nice lighting indoors.

− It is situated between two well traveled streets, a stone's throw from police department and a very early morning trash pick up route. There was a lot more street lights and noise than we imagined there would be. The heating system was distributed unevenly with the upstairs loft bedroom being too warm, the family room with couches and tv a little too chilly, and the bathroom extremely hot because a heating vent is above the sink vanity and if you are in the bathroom, you have the door closed. The lighting above the bathroom sink was awful - certainly not made for a woman who would like to do their hair and make up. Outdoor lighting from top of deck stairs down to the entrance/exit wood door/fence of property, should be greatly improved - although a sensor floodlight comes on as it is attached to the side of the building - it should be pointed downwards more as to see the last step or two before stepping onto the ground. Even a smaller sensor light that comes on the minute you open the door to the property from the parking lot would be most beneficial. Unfortunately, too late for myself who fell and injured herself, but for future bookings. Owners could have been much more concerned about the fall I took. No one came to see me, as I understand they live around the corner from their Airbnb property. They shoveled and salted the steps on New Year's Day which was great as it had snowed, and I was permitted a later check out and I was sent a text to say they were sorry about what had happened and to see if there was anything they could get me. Honestly, giving me one night's credit (for a two night stay) could been offered up and would help a little bit in covering my copay at the ER department, ambulance ride over and future medical bills.

Everything was perfect! The location was very easy to get to, parking was a bonus and the place was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Loved stay overall. Above suggestions are not criticisms- if nothing was changed, I’d stay again

Unique, large space, kitchen, outdoor space, steam shower, comfortable beds

− Outdoor space plants were not taken care of- would add so much if you had healthy, maintained plants. More comfortable , updated outdoor furniture. Shades for upstairs bedroom for a little more sleep in am.

The location is excellent. It's a loft with no one below or above you, so great privacy, too. There is a sauna in the shower that was amazing, too.
