Well equipped cottage on outskirts of Fowey
10.0Lovely cottage on the outskirts of Fowey. Beautiful garden to sit out and relax in. Kitchen very well equipped with everything you could need. Easy walk all downhill into Fowey and you can catch a bus back.

6.0The location was great for our holidays. With warmer weather or in the summer the garden is a great feature with great BBQ facilities and seating options.
− The bed in the main bedroom was really uncomfortable. The mattress has a topper, and then a duvet too, but it is still too soft and lumpy. This is going to be changed for next season and I know that everyone is different, but this was a big issue for me.
Funktionales Cottage
8.0Die Küche war modern, schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das sehr kleine Bad im Obergeschoss war sehr neu und modern gestaltet. Das Ein- und Aus- checken funktionierte sehr gut- der Kontakt zur Eigentümerin war auch sehr gut. Es gab hinter dem Haus eine Terrasse mit Grill, die wir jedoch mangels Sonne nicht benutzt haben.
− Das Wohnzimmer war leider ziemlich dunkel, ohne Charakter und es fehlte ein kleiner Tisch um Getränke u.ä. abzustellen, ich fand es nicht gemütlich. Große Menschen ( 180 cm) laufen immer leicht gebückt, da es einige Türzargen und Schrägen gibt, die für ein Cottage normal sind, aber für mich erdrückend wirkten. Das Schlafzimmer geht zur Straßenseite raus und mit geöffnetem Fenster hört man die Auto sehr laut. Den Parkplatz schräg vor dem Haus kann man nur sicher nutzen, wenn ein Beifahrer den Verkehr regelt und ggf. stoppt, da das Cottage in einer langgezogenen Kurve liegt, wo man die Autos aus beiden Richtungen kommend, nur schwer bzw. gar nicht sehen kann.
Kalt, eng und abgelegen
3.0Die Aussensitzplätze sind schön.
− Beim Eintreffen war es in den winzigsten Räumen nur 15 Grad, im Kühlschrank stand Wasser, in der Spülmaschine ebenso. Obwohl die Heizung schnell reagierte, blieb es in den Mauern immer kalt und muffelig. Die Türen und viele Unterzüge sind nur 1,80 m hoch, so dass wir als große Menschen ständig den Kopf einziehen mussten. Sehr wenig Platz. Sehr abgelegen.
