9.0Beautiful cottage, and very nicely done inside. The location was great next to a farm and overlooking fields of wheat. And nice to have a garden to walk out onto. Decent TV too.
− It was a pity that there is an oil refinery (I think?) across the field. The storage space for clothes wasn't great, but we managed. The communication with the owners could have been better too.
Despite Grangemouth refinery being very close it was a quiet and pleasant location.

Great for exploring the outer Edinburgh area.

− While rural, it is not far from industrial area.

10.0Very quiet and away from people. Cottage is well kept and very comfortable.
− Very minor fault is some of the kitchen goods (pans, pots, ) have non-stick coating coming off. Looks “old”, but usable.
