Peaceful and secluded getaway
9.0Very peacefull & secluded amongst the native bush and birds. The view from the deck was stunning! Actually there are multiple views from kitchen, bedrooms & bathrooms. The house is in good condition with lots of different areas to hang out - large dining table, 2 lounges on different levels, 2 decks both with outdoor furniture. Kitchen was open plan, so great for socialising with friends while preparing food. It was stocked well with utensils, crockery, cups, pots, platters etc. It seemed very central to Oneroa Village, probably 4 - 5 minutes drive. A very relaxing spot to enjoy a lovely get away on Waiheke Island.
− Small things - toilet holder downstairs kept breaking & falling off wall. Plus downstairs toilet flush button kept sticking and you had to take of cistern lid to push it back in to place. Driveway is steep so if you have a big 6 seater SUV it is a squeeze to turn around. Fine for a confident driver but not for all.

− No air conditioning, fans, fly screens & the beds were like jumping castles, nails on the deck need fixing, curtains too thin. Nespresso coffee machine provided with no pods, plunger provided with no coffee. Wifi constantly dropped out but this could be an island issue.

− Quite run down and a bit dirty and old everywhere. For instance, nails sticking out on the deck that hurt your feet everywhere, water boiler broke so needed to reset daily to get hot water
