lovely stay at VV!
9.0Very nice, laidback, friendly resort. Pot the owner and KPG local was always on hand to help, advise and even gave us lifts to the elephant sanctuary (worth visiting) and an -off-the-beaten-track dumpling restaurant. We were a party of 15 and one of the kids left a cap behind which Pot suddenly appeared with at the ferry port when we were leaving. The ever-present Tan was an excellent host and took care of our every need in the restaurant and beyond. If you are looking for a chilled place to stay away from the hecticness of hadrin, but within a 20 minute cab ride if you are in need of a bucket on the beach, V-View is the perfect place.
− The view is great but be aware that you cannot swim immediately out the front as when the tide is out it is all rocks and mud. That said there is a sand spit you can walk out a good 200m to get to the deeper water
