Has potential but needs better management

Very responsive host, she would get back to you fast. Location was good for our purposes (we were attending a wedding in tower grove area) and is close to tower grove park, downtown etc.

− Overall the property isn't well managed. Check in and out instructions should be part of booking details but had to communicate a few times to get those. Lots of things around the unit doesn't work including living room door (doesnt latch so was uncomfortable sleeping with a main entrance door unlatched), bedside lamps, one of the bed side outlet. The bed was a full size bed with a very small duvet (almost single sized), so wasn't the best sleep with 2 people in there. Also the duvet was visibly dirty on one end. There was a very elaborate table setting (3 plates+ bowl) for 4 people, although the place sleeps 2; not a big deal but was clutter in my opinion. There wasn't any surface in the bedroom to put things down on. Bathroom was bare, except for towels, no shampoo, no body wash. And the worse was the number of bugs/mosquitoes. Wasn't great having to hunt down 3 mosquitoes the night we arrived. I think the host is trying, but needs to find a better manager/housekeeper to ensure the place is clean, pest controlled and guest ready.

到着すると鍵が閉まっており、着いたことを電話で連絡してから、外で40分くらい待ちました。私たちは到着時間を伝えていなかったので、先に伝えておくとスムーズだったと思いました。対応がとても親切だったので、安心しました。部屋は広く快適で、清潔でした。 困ることは何もありませんでした。 夜もあたりは静かでよくねむれました。

− 窓の鍵を閉められない窓があり、少し不安でした。問い合わせると、安全な場所であるので安心して良いと言われました。言われた通り、危険なことはなく安全に過ごせました。ただ、日本から来た私たちからすると、どうしても治安に対して不安になるので、鍵が閉まるようにしてもらえるとより良いと思いました。
