An excellent stay for a week in a fantastic city.
10.0A very nice, modern apartment in a suburban part of San Sebastián but still within a 25 min walk of the lively centre. Bus services are also very convenient from the area. The city can be a bit awkward to navigate by car and the on street parking is quite difficult so having the free underground parking space with the property was a huge bonus. A word of warning though the parking space in the basement of the building is quite tight so some larger cars might struggle. We had a mid sized SUV and it was fine…just. The checking in process was smooth and we were met at the flat and given a very informative tour of the place and clear instructions on everything needed. The flat itself was very stylish and made for a very pleasant stay. When we were there the temp got up to 38C so the air con was essential. Although the apartment is in a quieter area of town there were plenty of great bars and restaurants in the immediate area as well as a brilliant mini supermarket ‘Super Amara’ about 2 min walk away.
− The apartment was just about perfect although we did find a lack of wine glasses in the cupboard, which we let the host know on leaving so probably rectified by now.
