Guest review
9.0Really lovely cottage, had everything we needed and more. 3 good sized double bedrooms. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Small courtyard garden. Lovely village with good amenities and dont miss the river walk.. its wonderful. We loved the ginger nut tea rooms .
− Nothing really. Getting TV to work failed. Went to the pub next door to watch england match.
Not good.
3.0Nothing.
− It was not clean. It was not comfortable. In fact there was nothing I liked about this property.
Guest review
10.0The cottage is comfortable and surprisingly spacious, very quirky layout but plenty big enough for five adults and two dogs. It's well equipped. And the beds were clean and comfortable. The cottage is located in a fairly busy village, the pub next door and the bakery/cafe the other side was very busy, the pub had live music playing Saturday night. We were lucky to park outside the cottage most of the time.. The location was perfect to explore the Peak District
− There were a few small areas where the cleaning service had let the owner down. It would have been nice to have the basics, tea, coffee sugar and milk there on arrival.
A lovely cottage , in a great location , and perfect for a get away
10.0Very spacious , large rooms , great location
− Nothing
Lovely stay in the White Peak
9.0Amazing location and surprisingly cosy but spacious for an old cottage. Well equipped with modern appliances and an excellent base for exploring the White Peak. Pub next door one side and artisan bakery the other - what more could you need!
− Didn't cause us an issue, but something to be aware of for larger parties or less mobile guests only 1 toilet upstairs.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
