− Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation. Upon arrival, we were met by a stressed and unfriendly person who didn’t seem to have time to properly welcome us. The entrance to the building, where the room is located, goes through a closed-down café with cockroaches and a shutter gate. Everything operates via codes, which makes entering and exiting quite inconvenient – and the key box by the street is placed high up and hard to reach. The room itself is fairly spacious, but it was worn down, had greasy fingerprints everywhere, and the bed was extremely hard. One night, we were woken at 3 a.m. by an angry man yelling and violently trying to break down the door to another room. It went on for about half an hour and felt very unsafe. The building is located on a busy road by the river – contrary to the listing, which claims it is on a “walking street.” In reality, it’s just a regular sidewalk. It’s quite far from the airport, and even further if you're heading to Cat Ba, like we were. Given the circumstances, the price is far too high.

10.0Contactless check in and check out, and a very responsive host via Zalo. Amazing facilities: clean, modern, and classy. Nice lighting options in the room. Full fridge and water filter in the room. The view from the balcony is great, and you can walk to many restaurants and cafes (and the ground floor of this building is also a cafe).
