Great food and shops close. lovely setting. Pool was great, massive thumbs up for that. We liked it all. Would come again. Sharon was an excellent host, went way beyond to help us. I hope she is appreciated for all her effort.

− If i had to be really picky, Sofa was a little hard, shame the table tennis table was a little dishevelled as we love that. There wasn't a pool table, which was in the pictures. Would of loved a couple of sun loungers to relax in. Fans would of been appreciated in this hot weather. I only say all this to only improve a great stay.

Cosy and relaxing stay in lovely rural area

Loved the cosy vibe and the log burner was a nice touch in such a cold snap. And our boys appreciated the Xmas tree and chocs to keep the Christmas feeling going!

− Queries were dealt with online through a third party. While this was fine, it would have been nice if the manager/owner stopped to say quick hello upon arrival, if only to point out a few things and welcome us. Also the lighting could have been nicer with a corner lamp or two in the living area.

Wonderful break

Beautiful location, very clean, perfect for a break away from busy life, with plenty to keep children happy.

− Only concern I had was getting entrance to property, worried I would accidentally enter another property. However was easy to find once there and we had to hunt around a little bit for were things we're but all part of the fun.

Nice little cottage, comfy beds! Great to have access to the facilities - tennis courts and pool!

− It said there was a dishwasher and hairdryer but there wasn’t in this cottage. There was also a problem with the boiler that made large banging sounds which woke us several times in the night. We had requested a cot but didn’t get a response and one wasn’t provided.

I had the most wonderful stay at this Norton Cottage. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless check-in was easy, and the manager Sharon was very warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need. Added bonus was the table tennis, pool area and the tennis courts which we thoroughly enjoyed! It gave the cottage added features which made it even more amazing. The cottage felt both cosy and modern, with little touches that made it feel like home plush linens, a well stocked kitchen, and even a few local recommendations that turned out to be amazing. A notable mention was to Frazier, who made the trip even more worthwhile. Nothing was too much for him, he was always there whenever something was needed and was always happy to help. I loved the talks I had with Frazier and he was very good company. He made us feel at home. The location was ideal: quiet enough to relax but close to shops, restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting, it exceeded all my expectations, and I’d happily return in a heartbeat! A big thankyou once again to Frazier and Sharon for making it a trip with many lasting memories 😊😊😊
