Fabulous base to explore The Highlands.
10.0Fabulous clean, spacious and comfortable accomodation a short walk from the centre of Fort Augustus. The Monestery is set in fabulous grounds and the inside of the Monestery has been well maintained with fabulous architecture. We stayed in Courtyard Cottage 2 in the grounds overlooking a grass area and an inlet of the loch. Bunnies played outside all week. Fort Augustus is an excellent base to explore The Highlands. Nearest big supermarkets are 40 mins away in either Fort William or Inverness. There is a local spa for essentials and a petrol garage along with a pub, chinese, and various gift shops. Cashpoints available at the Spar. Highly recommend.
