10.0West Barn is a beautifully designed, spacious and well equipped property with gorgeous views of the Devon countryside from many angles. The location is excellent too with Totnes nearby. The host was very welcoming and accessible if needed.

We had a really relaxing, luxurious but eco-conscious stay
10.0The house is really well-designed with the environment in mind. It is light and spacious as well as being very comfortable. The owners (who we really enjoyed meeting) have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design and construction of the house to make it have the smallest possible carbon footprint. It is very conveniently located for the Dartington Estate, which was one of the main objectives of our stay. Ben’s Farm Shop, which is a short distance from the house, provided us with all our supplies and it’s an excellent, friendly organic shop, which was recommended to us by Gemma. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and very spacious. Maybe with more time we would have made use of the cookery books conveniently provided in the kitchen. We just had a really nice time staying at the house. We also learned a lot about solar power and passive heating.
