5.0The host was courteous and helpful, but it appeared as though he was unfamiliar with Booking’s policies or interacting with guests from abroad. Madinaty is a nice place to stay.
− The furniture in the flat is reminiscent of the mid-60s style and feels too large for the space. The flat lacked a suitable blanket for winter, necessitating the purchase of one. The air conditioning only blew cold air, making the flat uncomfortably chilly in the evenings. The living room settee was of subpar quality and uncomfortable. Despite its compact size, the flat had plumbing issues, with water leaking from the bathtub and kitchen sink. The kitchen was small and poorly equipped, with low-quality pots that led me to buy stainless ones. The hob was slow and small, featuring one small and one large burner. The fridge was problematic, leaking water and failing to keep food adequately cold, resulting in spoilage. Despite these issues, I ensured the flat was clean before my departure. It’s fair to say that the flat, far from being luxurious or well-furnished, was quite basic.
