− Not suitable for westerners. Area not safe after dark Property booked wasn’t the property we got, Blocked wc took 24hrs after reporting (a plunger left for us to do) water stopped working due to a local area fault (12hrs) WiFi which was advertised as high speed - cuts out within hrs - 2 days no WiFi = no tv Local power outages daily No toiletries or towels Shower is very low water pressure and a bucket

3.0Honesty store, downstairs area.
− Front door lock warped so very difficult to lock and unlock. I paid for a two bedroom house. Instead of just telling me not to have any guests (still would have been strange) he actually locked the door to the extra room. False advertisement. I had to sleep on an uncountable mattress on the floor that blocked the door from opening and closing. I got sick on the floor and didn’t have access to the other room to sleep off of the floor because he locked the extra room that I rented. I almost missed my flight because after renting the place he said the discount he gave was for a month long rental and I only needed a week. If the discount was entered wrong what am I supposed to do about that at the last moment before my flight. If it didn’t show the discount i would’ve rented the other locations that showed up on Bookings that had a nice price for 2 bedrooms (I really wished I did). So he asked me for more money after I already paid. After many hours on the phone trying to cancel and almost a missed flight and fear I’d get to Pagadian with no reservation, he finally conceded to not ask for more money. Though I wanted Booking to move me to somewhere else seeing he was that type of guy. Certainly enough he was as the door was locked to the room with beds that weren’t on the floor and he didn’t care but I ended up requesting to cancel early and moved. Everywhere I rented in Pagadian and actually everywhere I’ve rented in the Philippines and the world treated me better than this. Don’t sell me a place with 3 beds and 2 bedrooms if when I get there I only can use a mattress on the floor in one room too small for the mattress. I’d rather he had just charged me more IF I had others stay there but I didn’t have anyone extra stay there.
