Family vacation in Areopoli

We really enjoyed our stay in Terra Di Pietra! Firstly we were received with a big smile and hug by the owners. They escorted us to our room and spoiled us with cold drinks and local bakery:) Room: we stayed in a family room that had large living room, parents bedroom and bathroom. We loved our room that was high maintained and contained all we need for our family vacation. We enjoyed our meals in the large balcony and great views of Mani mountains. In room there is mini kitchen with fridge, sink and tableware to eat meals in the room. There were strong air conditioning that kept our room chill in July heat. Breakfast: we loved breakfast, it had variety of food, even local specialties. We loved breakfast staff, each morning received us with a smile and playful with our kids (Maria ♡♡♡) . The only missing thing was a baby feeding chair in the breakfast area - it could make our meal more convenient :) The hotel is located outside Areopoli, 5 min walk for adults. Note that its a bit more challenging with baby stroller as the side walk is rocky. The hotel has its own parking. The hotel location is very convenient to visit mani region - all beaches, small villages, nature site are 50 min drive max.

− Maybe because it was July, but we would love to have a pool in the hotel! They even have the perfect space for it 😁

Great hosts, clean but not fit for purpose and very overpriced for what you get

Hosts were lovely and very helpful. New build in a good location with walking distance to the main area.

− Basically miss-sold as the room was smaller than advertised and everything was a squeeze. Had nowhere to put out suitcases nor dry our towels. No balcony and basically a small room which we basically paid a premium for. Breakfast was ok at best but for the price we paid, we could have gone 100m down the road where they had a massive foyer, better breakfast, closer to town, lovely swimming pool etc. Overall, I really feel that we should have not paid anymore than half of what we did as a couple that stayed in that hotel with the swimming pool paid less than what we did. I expect Booking.com to credit us 50% as not sold as described.

Beautiful clean hotel in a good location

The breakfast had lots of selection and food was tasty, and the yoghurt was especially good. Locations was convenient- walkable to Aeropoli and very close to Limeni.

− Nothing really we didn’t like - a pool would be nice!
