Great apartment with good access to the beach, beautiful views, lovely location
9.0Very easy to locate keys. Good, clear and friendly comms from host. Host also recommended local airport transport options which was great. It was our first time in Airlie Beach and it is a fantastic place to be based. There is so much to do - so many boat trips and places to visit. We rented a car and drove to Bowen and Horseshoe Bay which was amazing - you can snorkel straight from the shore. Other days we just chilled out and it was a fantastic place to do this. Very comfortable apartment.
− The apartment is very comfortable. It had everything we needed and was very pleasant to stay in. The infinity pool is amazing and the apartment block lovely. The views over the beach from the apartment are gorgeous. The location is up a hill so not for everyone but it was fine for us. We also went to Northerlies which offers a great free shuttle. We would stay there again. It is a little dated but nothing a fresh coat of paint wouldn't fix and this does not impact on the comfort or pleasantness of the apartment and our stay.
We had a good stay at Airlie Beach with boat trips and flight over Whitsundays
7.0The location was pleasant with nice view of the coast & easy access to main Airlie Beach strip of restaurants/bars & shops.
− The key box was very awkward to open on the door knob & took a long time to open. I was t sent (didn’t) recieve the PIN number to open lock box. No instructions to find building where apartment was located. Name of apartment block not mentioned. Steepness of access not mentioned. Woken by faulty smoke alarms at 6am & toilet not flushing. Smell in bathroom. Mismatched & chipped China in cupboards. Balls of dust under beds & chairs in lounge. Balcony & terrace need good tidy & clean. Whole apartment needs a good spring clean.
