This was a delightful two days in the beautiful mountains. And we had a surprise snow storm!

Lots of room inside, great location & amazing view!
9.0I liked the location, very close to get to town and a short drive to Julian. The panoramic views during the day are amazing and at night, with all the lights out you can see all the stars! Our rooms / beds were very comfortable. I loved how high up the property was, but not too many neighbors or other vacationers to engage/connect with. I enjoyed my run down the pavement to the lake. Then a nice incline back up to the house (for those that like to run and/or exercise). The inside of the house is very spacious. Comfy theatre room downstairs, although we didn't watch any tv during our stay.
− I didn't like the narrow driveway. I had to back in all the way to the top every time we went any where. So that the next time we left we could just drive straight forward to get out. With 2 cars at the top by the garage, not any room to spin my car around. The deck was spacious but felt a little nervous walking to the railing as it didn't look/feel very secure. The outdoor area / fire pit and BBQ area was not very inviting or comfortable to sit at. The walking path up is very rocky to step on. A lot of dry brush and looked like it hadn't been used in a while. So our time spent outside was minimal. Too bad because the night views in the sky are amazing.

10.0The property had beautiful views. It was located right next to Cuyamaca Lake and 15 mins from Julian. It was so peaceful and I loved waking up to deer outside. The owner John was really nice and helpful.
