I love the property! It’s nice and tucked away. It’s close enough to the city that it’s convenient but, far enough that it’s quiet and safe. It’s 10 minutes away from the beach walking, which is amazing, and close enough to a state park, and trails. The room is nice and private with lots of gardens and plants. There is a little flight school about 5 km away, and you can walk 7 minutes to the little mercado for the basic fruit, vegetables, meat, oats, and rice. I enjoyed seeing how the brothers built their spaces themselves, and they put a lot of love into building these cabins. They are friends with all their neighbours and we had lunch for a neighbours birthday all together. She is a mosaic artist and taught me how she does it. I’ve been wanting to learn for years and didn’t know where to start. Some of her mosaics are around the brother’s property.

− The kitchen has everything you need, though it feels a little cluttered and one must do some cleaning and organizing to find counter space. I am a bit of a clean freak in many ways, so this was something i noticed, but it was minor and I was glad to be participating in caring for the space. The family is sharing their personal kitchen which is incredibly kind and generous. I was so grateful to be able to cook and we often ate together.

Hospitalidade do anfitrião muito legal. Sempre solícito. Lugar de paz. Gostei das plantas e dos gatos muito fofinhos. Praia e a lagoa é lindo. Nascer do Sol na praia e Pôr do Sol na lagoa. Lugar para um chimarrão tranquilo. Gostamos muito. Tem lençóis e toalhas.

− Barulho dos vizinhos nos incomodou um pouco. Como na nossa estadia a pousada estava em obras nos incomodou um pouco a desorganização em virtude da obra.

Vários aspectos: entre eles, a beleza, o farto verde, os escritos culturais e a harmonia do lugar. A limpeza e higiene no geral. A atenção e amabilidade na recepção e a predisposição em atender as demandas dos hospedes. O silêncio adequado para desfrutar do local. A graciosidade, leveza e meiguice dos gatos e gatas da casa, que amorosa e de forma simpática criaram uma atmosfera perfeita para o convívio coletivo. Uma ótima experiência !

− Gostei de tudo, apenas lamento por minhas limitações físicas não ter sido possível maior autonomia nos deslocamentos da pousada até a beira mar, já que na praia de Itapeva, a exemplo de outras praias do litoral gaúcho, não se dispõe de minicarrinhos que circulam entre o centro da cidade e a Orla. Cabe ressaltar que os anfitriões da Casa da Pedra Chata disponibilizaram veículos em algumas vezes para esse deslocamento, dentro do possível. Contudo, seria bem melhor o oferecimento de um serviço pela prefeitura da cidade de minicarrinhos, a preços acessíveis, como já detalhado acima. No mais gostei de tudo.
