10.0Everything - staff extremely helpful, all-you-can-drink service and nice lounge area, comfortable rooms and bed, very clean, good breakfast, private hot spring bath, etc.

Amazing stay at this onsen ryokan, relaxing and completely enjoyable.
10.0A mix of traditional and modern. A lot of unexpected treats. Very nice and helpful staff. Awesome onsen.
− The location is a bit out of the way, but if you travel by car it’s not a problem. The garden needs some work.

9.0Deep Sea Curry was amazing. Unlimited alcohol was great. They provided a lot of free amenities. The onsen was also very relaxing. We did calligraphy as well, it was enjoyable. The whole property was very peaceful and staff was attentive. The town of Heda is very quiet and welcoming. We spoke with a few locals and went to nearby izakayas. Kurura Heda is a must-visit place near to the property.
− The staff could not speak English... But I think that cannot be expected in Japan. Their garden was not kept clean; the grass was not trimmed.
