10.0When we arrived, we got a helpful video showing us where to find the keys and how to get inside. The host checked in with us on the first day and again the next day to make sure everything was okay. The location is fantastic—right in the centre of town, but it still feels peaceful, with a cosy garden by the door and a pretty courtyard outside the window. It only takes two minutes to walk to lots of restaurants, shops, ice cream places, and anything else you might need. The lakefront, port, and ferry are just as close. Even better, there’s a fantastic osteria just half a minute away and a good takeaway place right next door. The train station is a bit farther, about a 20-minute walk uphill, so I’d suggest taking a taxi if you have luggage. On our last day, the host offered to help us get a taxi if we needed one, but we managed fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

10.0The apartment was an awesome location for our 3 day stay in Desenzano, right in the middle of town and one minute walk from the lake. You get the whole apartment and courtyard to yourself, and it has all the amenities and toiletries you need (and a washing machine!). The apartment has lovely high ceilings and is very clean and spacious, plenty of room for 2 people but would also be fine for 3 or with small kids. Helpful host and the check in and out process was very smooth and easy. Grazie mille - we hope to be back soon for a longer stay!
