Good location but property in need of updating and general maintenance not of the standard I was expecting.

7.0

Good location at the end of the group of log cabins with a good amount of outdoor space, hot tub and bbq, and a lovely view. A good location and within walking distance for Swanage or the steam train.

Decking areas could have been cleaner. Tree debris, algae and bird faeces evident. Heating was going full blast only some of the radiators could be switched off and it was 23c outside! This was reported but no one came to sort this. Ended up googling it and switching it off completely. Hot tub was too hot, said it was set at 37.5 but it certainly felt higher than that. Coloured lighting was bizarre in the property. Sink in bathroom very crazed. The door onto the decking area was very difficult to lock at times. The plug in the sink in the en-suite didn’t function this was reported as we left. The furniture was not as on the photos and we found the sofas uncomfortable and the cabin appeared very cluttered and in need of some tlc to get it up to date and reduce the number of themes the cabin appears to have. Crockery wouldn’t have been enough if 7 people were staying there. Much of the contents of the kitchen and glass cupboard would not have been used and didn’t match. The beds in the twin room are very narrow singles so unless you are a non mover it could be a problem.

Comfy home from home log cabin, could do with additional cleaning in outside areas.

Excellent - we arrived 1 hour early, we had contacted the property to see if this was ok but did not receive a response. However when we arrived they were happy to accommodate this request. The property was large, in the corner plot which meant we had privacy. It is a beautiful set up, we were provided with logs for the fire and fire starters too. All staff were very friendly, good parking and all rooms set up really nicely. Great facilities - particularly loved the comfy chairs outside!

Would live liked the outside area to be cleaner, there was plenty of (old) bird mess on the furniture which we had to clean and also lots of cobwebs in the stairs outside. However I appreciate it is a very large site for the cleaners to manage so I am sure there is a time pressure. The lighting in parts of the log cabin was a bit "trippy" - some red, some blue, some yellow which was not ideal in the evening - but a very minor criticism of a really lovely place.

Spacious home from home. Loved the small touches, the milk in the fridge and the wood for the fire. Will come back again soon.

Everything was great. Thank you.

For a two night stay it was comfortable and cosy

7.0

It was cosy, the beds were very comfortable and lovely fresh clean linen. A good amount of logs and kindling if you wanted a fire. The hot tub was clean and warm.

Some things are a little tired and could do with replacing. Better light bulbs in the on suite. New table mats as they are a bit grubby.
