Great stop over en route to the Flinders, friendly Melrose at foot of Mt Remarkable.
8.0Excellent breakfast options at the cafe next door, which opened at 8am (December).
− Shower head was fixed and sprayed the floor a little round the shower tray.

9.0Very nice and interesting hotel landlord who also turned out to be a walking encyclopedia on all worldly topics. The grub was good and plentiful and the motel rooms had what was required.
− Mt. Remarkable Park was closed due to pest control actions, but that was hardly the fault of the hotel...
Didn't end up staying as they didn't have our booking and the room was not clean. refund was given
