We had a wonderful stay in this stylish, impeccably designed apartment. It was perfectly equipped with everything we needed as a family of six, and the views over the bay were truly outstanding. Whenever we needed assistance, the customer service was fast, supportive, and very kind. However, the wider gated community does come with some serious drawbacks that future guests should be aware of. There are no on-site supermarket, meaning even a quick trip for basics requires a 30-minute round walk. As a result the impeccably designed kitchen is barely used as it's impossible to cook a meal. A free shuttle to and from the train station is also badly needed — it’s a 40-minute walk with luggage, or you’re left waiting nearly an hour for a taxi, which is shockingly expensive. For example a trip to the Giant Cave cost £60 for a 12-minute ride. Another frustration was that the apartment only came with two sunbeds; for a family of six, this meant paying an additional £164 per day just to use the pool facilities. These hidden costs make the holiday significantly more expensive than expected. To be clear, none of this is the fault of the apartment owner, who provided a beautiful, well-equipped place to stay. The issues lie with the service block and its lack of facilities for those without a car. This really should be made much clearer in the listing, so families can plan accordingly.

Breathtaking view from the balcony of the unit, facing the Adriatic Sea, especially during sunset. The balcony is very comfortable to hangout at with large table that can fit 6 people comfortably during meals. Spacious kitchen which makes it convenient to those who prefer to cook their own meals.

− When we stayed, the elevators leading to the main gate happened to be out of order. We then had to drag / push our luggages up from the basement carpark up a slope alongside the car driveway to get to the waiting point for our taxi (as taxi wasn’t allowed to pick us up at the basement parking). It was not easy for my parents who are more senior in age. Procedure can be made more seamless for check-in outside of working hours.
