Location excellent for walking along the canal, very close to the local train station and 20 minute walk to Alvechurch shops.

− No long mirror was just a mild annoyance

Convenient location for where we were going, we needed 3 rooms and this is what it has. It was very clean, quite well equipped, easy check in excellent communications. Wish we’d got back for a drink before pub shut at 11pm. Uber came and picked us up no problem. Just what we wanted really, thank you :)

− The stairs are a little steep, not a problem for us being mobile and having small overnight bags but others need to be aware of this.

Lovely pub, great food and staff so friendly. Great spacious accommodation. Spotlessly clean. The pub is not noisy and didn't disturb us at all. The location is perfect. A short walk along the water to the crown Inn, which is idyllic and great food too. About a 15-minute walk into the village. We would recommend the Ritual Cafe for lovely cocktails, they have a lovely garden and they stay open until 9pm. They also do a lovely breakfast. The village is lovely, has a coop, Chinese, Indian and great pubs!

− The only downside for us was that the beds and pillows are very hard and also the sofas are brand new so also very firm but the tv is huge which was great. If you leave the window in the main bedroom open during the night, you can hear the odd train passing through. However, having said all of this, I would stay again as none of this overly bothered us. I'd bring my own pillow next time 😁 thanks so much for a fabulous stay.
