We had a wonderful stay this weekend. Everything was perfect—the house was beautiful, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need. Tanya is an exceptional host who goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, and her communication was excellent throughout. The wood-burning fireplace and electric blankets were especially appreciated during the cold winter evenings, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly stay here again.

− Check-in was a bit uncomfortable and an informal settlement very close to the property made a lot of noise and disturbed our stay.

Fantastic house for entertaining - big open kitchen, plenty of seating, huge braai room. Plenty of everything in the kitchen and some nice touches like an ice machine, washing machine (+ powder) and braai wood. Bedrooms large enough and all had air conditioning and their own shower rooms. Communication with owner was very good ahead of We had a good time there.

− Location was the one feature we didn't score 10/10, for two reasons. There is a local 'farm' within 50m of the property, over the boundary wall of the golf estate, there ae dogs there which bark constantly in the night time and a cockerel which wakes early in the morning. Furthermore the golf club greens staff come out on lawnmowers and strimmers very early pre-sunrise. With such thin windows in the bedrooms this caused light sleepers in our group to sleep very badly on all 4 nights. Secondly, it's not the fault of the property, nor was it advertised as a possibility but we booked Albatross Lodge on the basis of bringing a boat to use on the river - there is no formal arrangement between the adjacent campsite and the Golf/River estate so we were unable to dock our boat. Furthermore the lady at the campsite with whom we tried to make an arrangement was downright difficult and unpleasant. In short, do not stay at Silverstrand Golf & River estate if you intend to waterski. Swimming pool at the property is tiny.

The house is beautiful and perfectly suited our needs for 2 families of 4 to stay comfortably. All the facilities were exceptional and well thought out. We didn't lack for anything. Would highly recommend this property.

− The balcony upstairs could use an awning and maybe some chairs to sit and enjoy the views but that's the only minor comment I would make.
