A vacation stay in the soothing and serenity valley
9.0What i like is the property has amazing view on top of the valley, the building seems pretty new, the pool is nice, the hotel vibes is a place to truly find relaxing and quietness. The staff are so friendly and professional. Also the breakfast is pretty good and the wine of course.
− The lack of a small refrigerator in the room is a major inconvenience for guests staying more than one night who bring snacks or drinks, since the hotel is quite far from dining options. Also other amenities such as cotton pads for facial cleansing, cotton bud, and a bathrobe are also missing.

10.0My husband and I toured Portugal with another couple and spent two nights in the Douro Valley. Quinta Vale de Lobos is a contemporary, beautiful and well-cared for property. We had stunning 180-degree views from our room, the pool, the large common dining/sitting area and outdoor patio. The staff was friendly, the buffet breakfast with fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries, meats, etc. and option for to-order eggs and coffee was delicious. Our deluxe queen room had a small but private bath. If time had allowed, we would have extended our stay to relax and refresh ourselves on our busy trip through this lovely country.
− We were glad we had a rental car. Restaurants are not within walking distance of the hotel. But with a car, the property is within easy driving distance to both restaurants, wineries and activities in the area. We saw several guests eating their own charcuterie style food and wine in the common dining area.
