Quiet villa with a gorgeous garden and private pool, close to the beach, restaurants and shops

We arrived very late but the video sent to us showing how to collect the keys and open the door was very useful and reassuring. We arrived to find a lovely welcome basket with everything we needed for breakfast so we could eat in the morning before having to go shopping for supplies. The welcome information pack was also very thorough and useful. The villa is very spacious with plenty of space for everybody to find a quiet corner to relax. The garden and pool area were fantastic, with a stunning sea view from the terraced dining area. We spent a lot of time in the pool, even though the beach was only a short walk away. It was great to have a private pool to ourselves which was not really overlooked, as it is in a quiet residential area. The bathroom next to the pool was very useful too. All 4 bedrooms upstairs had air conditioning, along with the main living room which made it very comfortable for us in the middle of August. There were three bathrooms, 1 for the 2 downstairs bedrooms and 2 upstairs, shared by the 4 upstairs bedrooms. All the rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The villa is very close to the local supermarket, restaurants, cafes and beach making it easy to go out of we wanted to. We had great fun exploring Almunecar and the surrounding areas.

− The kitchen had great facilities (including 2 fridge-freezers) but for 9 of us it was a little small so we had to cook and eat in two sittings/shifts. However, the villa is so close to restaurants that we ate out a lot. The two downstairs bedrooms had electric fans but no air conditioning units, so these were a little warmer than the upstairs bedrooms, but still comfortable even in the middle of August.
