Very nice property, close to town centre with excellent facilities.

Good location with a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Rooms were clean and tidy. We had an issue with one of the showers and the owner called straight away to assist us. Very friendly and helpful.

− There is a nice space in the garden with an apple tree however this did look like it needed a bit of tidying up. As the weather was so hot when we stayed, we did spend quite a bit of time outside.

Super, spacious and comfortable house in an excellent location for access to the centre of town yet within easy reach of other places too! Good facilities for cooking at home, lovely kitchen with lots of space for a family and very clean also very kind hosts! Walking distance to Waitrose too!

− For us, nothing ! We had all we needed for a super family time.

In Need of Some Attention

Really good central location and easy walk into Stamford with great choice of restaurants and shops. Parking for two cars is also good. House had plenty of space, a nice lounge and kitchen/dining area. Good selection of kitchen utensils if you were cooking, we didn't but good to have. Nice touch of leaving a few wash tabs for the dishwasher and washing machine.

− The garden area was awful lovely space but totally neglected with broken benches. Arriving to see that was not great, and with such a warm weekend, we did want to use it. Needs some love and attention as full of weeds and overgrown. Cobwebs all over the back windows. The kitchen was not that clean, the floor was a bit sticky and some cupboards were dirty inside. The lounge and upstairs were much cleaner. It was good to have a downstairs shower room, but flooring was very stained, which meant we did not use it, and the shower in the double bedroom was no more than a trickle. There was no water pressure so pretty useless. Overall, it just needs some attention outside, cleaning the removal of clutter and new garden furniture. We would stay again as benefits outweighed the negatives.

Overall a positive experience. A very good location walking distance to the town centre. The number of beds was perfect for the amount of people staying, other locations would have had us sharing beds. The kitchen area and downstairs twin room were bright and airy.

− The showers were quite weak. Some tired/dated interior decorating. The biggest issue was with the heating, we were unable to figure out how to turn it off or down and this made it too hot at night.

Perfect place for a family

It was a very spacious house with plenty of room for the 7 of us in my family. The beds were very comfortable and it had a very nice kitchen dinner. Pretty garden. Nice quiet area close to the town centre.

− Teri of the showers weren’t very powerful but the one on the main bathroom was good.
