10.0Wonderful location. The Demesne is a very special place. You can enjoy long walks around it in perfect peace and lovely woodlands. The Gate Lodge is the perfect blend of classiness without fussiness. The host was very responsive and everso helpful but gave us complete space to ourselves. The garden was private and quiet except for the birds. The kitchen was well equipped for those of us who enjoy cooking. The beds and sofas were very comfy. The showers were powerful. There was nothing I'd have wanted to be any different or could imagine could be improved.

− We didn’t stay long enough to really enjoy it. We were out v early and back v late so only there to sleep and shower.

10.0The Gatelodge is a beautiful stand alone building nestled in a country estate. Very well laid out inside with gorgeous grounds around it. Fixtures and fittings, beds and soft furnishings were of very good quality. The welcome pack was a nice touch.
