− A lot happened during our stay. Here’s what happened: When we arrived at the reception to ask for the key, the guard checked the mailbox and there was no key there, even though that was the instruction given to me. I tried to contact the management through the app, but it took several minutes to get a response. So I decided to send a message via iMessage, but it also took a few minutes. After that, I decided to call their number. At first, they answered my call and told me they would check with the caretaker about the key. We waited for several minutes—almost 20 minutes. I called the number again, but they didn’t answer anymore. We even tried using a different phone, but there was still no answer. We started to get really worried because we thought it might be a scam. We asked the guards for help and where we could file a complaint, and they helped us call the management. Here’s the very frustrating part: they answered immediately when the guard called them. But how come they couldn’t answer our calls?! We then used the guard’s phone to communicate with them. I asked, “Miss, why can’t you answer our calls, but when the guard calls, you answer immediately?” Her response was: “Busy man gud ko, dili ra kana akong trabaho, and ako pud ge tawagan ang caretaker ganeha.” Like, what?! Busy? Our calls kept ringing when we tried to call, and you say you’re busy? Hello, I think you need to prioritize this because someone are waiting outside. And then she hung up the call! So we tried to call and send messages again, asking what the best option was: could we cancel the booking and get a refund, or could they provide another room? After a couple of minutes, they finally called us back and offered another room. And no apologies were given. So we finally calmed down because after a tiring day with no sleep from work and eating out, we thought we could finally rest. That’s what we thought! The room was cheap, but the faucet and shower were not working.

The beamer is great, made for nice movie nights. Apartment has mostly everything you need, also standing desk is nice. The pool is great for actual swimming because its huuuge.

− 2 Things that were real trouble makers and can not be ignored: The Wifi is extremly bad. Its just a 4G SIM card router which becomes useless after 5pm when the bandwidth drops to 1MBps and breaks off all the time. If I wouldnt have had my 5G compatible Iphone with my own SIM I would have lived like in the stone age there. I will bet you money that you will have huge troubles with the WIFI every day. The location is miserable, nothing in any direction. Its a very poor area so there are no decent restaurants, not even proper food stalls. No Grab or other service will come near you any time of the day so you always have to get scammed by the tuktuk drivers in front of the complex. We ended up ordering food every single day. We never went out because you will get stuck in traffic 100%. We were happy when our stay was over.
