The view from the house was fantastic! The owners welcomed us and explained everything. Very nice to have limoncello but also we could buy wine and beer reasonably priced of them. It was also close to Amalfi and Atrani

The property itself was recently renovated, neat and spacious enough - 2 separate bedrooms with king-size beds and another room with 3 single beds to sleep + a sofa in the living room. Additionally separate kitchen. Also one balcony and one balcony/terrace - all with a spectacular view. Additionally, it is great that there was a garage to make it possible to park your car (if you have any rental etc). I recommend booking a parking space beforehand if you will travel by car. We've been stopped and checked by police once entering Pontone, and they mentioned we need to have guaranteed parking space to enter the area. There is a village center nearby which has two good restaurants and a mini market where you can buy your daily needs such as bread, water, alcohol etc. The quality of the weather and view is very good again. We used the place to stay and visit Amalfi/Positano. It is ~10-15 mins drive to Amalfi.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely hosts. The older guy who owns the place greeted us with his daughter; took us through the property explaining everything, provided information on the local area, etc etc. Gave us a couple of bus tickets as we were unprepared, and let us pay him back upon check-out. There was some wine, beers and soft drinks in the fridge you could help yourself to and pay on check-out. Private, gated parking is offered. The property has spectacular views of the valley down to Amalfi, with two balconies/terraces to enjoy it from (you could sit out in the evening for dinner). Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space. The local town/hamlet (Pontone) has a couple of decent pizzeries (one with great views) and a little shop. Countryside feeling to the area, quiet in the evenings, roosters in the morning etc. I think the price reflects the location (which is quite remote), and I would probably stay again to save money, if it was too expensive to stay closer to Amalfi or if I was looking for a couple of quiet days with a trip or two down to the coast.

− It should be clear from the map, but just note the location and distance from Amalfi (if that is what you're there for). The walk down to Amalfi is 30 mins of stairs. There are local buses between Amalfi and Pontone (the local town/hamlet) which we used and they worked well. Note there is an additional per-night fee to use the gated parking.

We loved this place. The location was great, the views from the town are amazing and the town is very nice as well. Everyone wad really lovely :) The bus into Amalfi was very easy (only 20 min) and the ran regularly enough. The apartment itself had every thing we needed, it was clean, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was great to have. We couldn’t recommend this place more 👍
