Beautiful house and property with great potential, but unfortunately neglected by property manager.

Home, property, and dock are all beautiful in the pictures and aesthetically adequate in person. This place is huge with more sleeping and living space than needed for our six person crew. The owners were very quick to respond to my emails and pleasant to correspond with. The amenities like towels, linens and decor were perfect.

− Preparation for our visit was severely lacking. Unacceptable to charge $3000 per week for house that is not maintained properly. Before we even checked in for our 6 night stay we received an email asking us to chaperone a technician to fix the dryer on the 3rd day and a plumber for tub leak on 4th. Those issues should have been resolved before our arrival. A couple of days into our visit we were also asked to drag out large trash bin...that was already full before we arrived to the road and put it next to the one that was previously left out there, laying on it's side. Boat launch unsafe and unusable. Many dock & stair lights not working. Flood dangling off wall. Patio bricks not flat, small sink hole the size of a bucket by hvac unit. Deck stairs uneven & not level. Hot tub was not hot, technician had to adjust control unit so that it was functional. Big fancy gas grill in pictures has been replaced with a smaller charcoal grill. Either the handle on storm door or kitchen door needs to be replaced with a knob. The two handles catch each other and prevent you from getting out from inside. better to replace storm door handle, already falling off the door anyway. Battery in basement smoke detector hanging out, nonoperational, didn't check others. We had to replace light bulbs & dead batteries in remotes. There is a broken but still operational shower knob in one bath & shower head in another. Basement TV & arcade game don't work.
