8.0Location was perfect, parking easy
Lovely base to explore the Scottish Borders.
10.0Lovely spacious house right in the centre of town. Modern furnishings, kitchen and shower with original room proportions kept. Very comfortable beds and all mod cons. Good wifi. Lovely town in heart of Scottish Borders with loads to see in Melrose itself and good range of shops including Coop opposite. Good bus service from Galasheils train. This apartment would be our first choice for going back there.
− As older folk we'd have liked clear written on peper instructions for eg the microwave - took us five mins experimenting to find the start button! One of those folders with local knowledge would have been good. Also it maybe said in the description but in case not, the apartment was one floor up and the bathroom another floor - lots of stair climbing! Finally, we didn't realise till returning from our first excursion that the lock wasn't a Yale but needed to be manually locked - maybe a notice on the back of the door?

6.0− Stairs to toilet were steep. Stairs to apartment needed handrail on outside curve as well as inner. Dishwasher didn't wash properly. TV didn't work unless you asked for a PIN. Bedside needs table not stool.

Abgesehen von der Sauberkeit ist die Unterkunft wirklich sehr schön und von der Lage her auch echt klasse.
8.0Küche war gut ausgestattet. Lage war super, direkt in der Innenstadt und trotzdem relativ ruhig. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, es ist nur zu bedenken, dass man nur eine Decke pro Doppelbett hat. Auch die Möbel im Wohnzimmer waren sehr gemütlich und haben zum Entspannen eingeladen.
− Unter den Betten und dem Sessel im Wohnzimmer war SEHR viel Staub (vermutlich sollen deshalb auch die Möbel nicht umgestellt werden). Im Badezimmer waren fremde Haare auf dem Boden. Auf den Treppen ist Teppich und auch der war voll mit Haaren und Staub. Das war relativ blöd.
