Beautiful views from the garden over Grasmere and an easily accessibly secured garden for the dogs with a lovely table to eat at.

− No views from the residence really and the windows of my room had no blinds so sunlight in the morning.

Disappointed, great location but no windows to enjoy the view!

Key safe was awkward to use

− Crockery barely sufficient. Marked absence of cleaning materials eg no dishcloth or spare bin bags. Fridge and freezer not clean. Upholstery rather grubby and kitchen area tatty.

I will book this place again, it has been magical

Absolutely everything!!! Gorgeous converted barn, amazing view, exceptionally quiet.. a real gem. The barn was well heated, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen

Pleasant stay, although property does require a deep clean and some TLC. Great location for walks.

− Whole property a little dated and in need of some redecoration and TLC Cobwebs in the skylights Window blinds on velux in bedroom broken and covered in cobwebs

The accommodation was warm and comfortable with stunning views of the lake from the garden and the lovely sound of birdsong. A beautiful getaway.

− Just minor things really. There didn't seem to be a facility for recycling rubbish and what would have been handy was some basic kitchen equipment such as slotted spoon, potato masher, spatula.
