Bonne Terre Inn Cedar Room♡

Nice property, but not worth the price.

The location and grounds of Bonne Terre are the only redeeming factor of our stay.

− The breakfast offering was the usual fare that you find at a Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Hotel 6, etc. I would expect a little better effort from a place that charges these prices. Drury Inns offer a much better breakfast, for less. I was disappointed that the heater in our room did not work the first night. When temperatures dip below 50 degrees, you would expect the room to be heated. We used the little portable heater in the closet, but it just couldn't keep up with the cold air blowing in through the cracks in the doors. Our shower was VERY slow draining and had slimy black marks by two of the jacuzzi jets. It is a bit frustrating to take a shower and end up in dirty water above your ankles. Our first night started off on a sour note, as there was a lot of screaming and laughing and loud noises coming from the main room downstairs. At first, I gave them until 10PM to see if they would quiet down. I called the provided phone number at 10:00, but discovered they don't answer the phone at that time. I left a message about my problem with the voice mail, but my call was never addressed the next day, or at all, for that matter. At 10:30 PM, I went downstairs to ask the people making the noise if they could keep it down. It turned out to be older women, playing a game and unaware that there were other guests on the premises. I will not be coming back to Bonne Terre on my future visits to this area. The Drury Inn, off Goodman, by I-55, will do just fine.
