10.0Lal & his wife took exceptionally good care of us with excellent home cooking (we were always stuffed!), local recommendations, organising an elephant safari (highly recommend!) and transport queries. Very well located in Sigiriya too close to Lion Rock.
− Room only has one plug socket which can make charging phones etc. tricky when you're out all day.

10.0Mr and Mrs Lal took great care of us. They arranged safari and tuktuk, and also taxi to Trimcomelee. Room was spacious and clean - just needed an extra powerpoint next to second bed. Breakfast large and tasty with omelet, fruit, toast plus more. Thanks for a great stay
Super friendly hosts and brilliant accommodation
10.0We absolutely loved our stay at Lal’s and wish we had been able to stay longer. What really makes this place great are the hosts - Lal and his wife were very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the area. The room itself is very comfortable and set in a beautiful garden with very comfy outdoor seating. We were served a brilliant tea on arrival and a great breakfast of fruit, omelettes and pancakes in the morning. We would love to come back here!

8.0Die Gastgeber, Lal und seine Frau waren sehr freundlich und immer zur Stelle. Auch wenn uns Lal‘s strenger Blick bis zum Schluss etwas verunsicherte. Frühstück war lecker und reichlich. Beim essen konnten wir Streifenhörnchen, Echsen, Affen und Vögel beobachten. Lage war okay - an der Zufahrtsstrasse vor dem sehr kleinen Ort. Es hat einzelne Restaurants in der Nähe. Wir hatten ein Zimmer hinten gewpnscht, was gut war. Selbst da hörte man die Strasse noch.
− Die Sauberkeit war auf den ersten Blick gut, auf den zweiten Blick hätten einige Käfer und Spinnen entfernt werden können. Der Wäscheservice wäre doppelt so teuer gewesen wie sonst überall. Leider waren wir die einzigen Gäste und es gab für uns wohl deshalb das von vielen beschriebene leckere Bananenblüten-Abendessen nicht.
