Location was perfect super close to all ammenities / shops/ beaches Lots of room in the house

− Bbq was rusted out & unusable Beds very uncomfortable Washing machine comes up errors when try to use. Neighbours are renovating/ extremely noisy

The last place on Straddie

This was the last place on Straddie when we booked for a one night overnight stay. We booked last minute and we were quickly and professionally accommodated. The place is bright and clean and within walking distance of the kiosks and cafes.

− I can see why this was the last place left on Straddie. It's not horrible, but it's not much. And the noise from the apartment above is unreasonable. I am not noise sensitive, I quite like a bit of sound, but the amount you can hear from others just enjoying their holiday at different times to you is too much.

The location

− I thought I had booked a house only to discover that it was the middle floor of a house. No insulation between floors so could hear people upstairs easily. Every drawer opening, every scrape of a chair on the floor and every footstep. Annoying when trying to sleep. Also kitchen was a kitchenette and tiny. No room to store food as every cupboard had dishes etc cooking utensils limited. Didn’t have a pot big enough to boil pasta.

We booked last minute due to issues with our original accommodation. The communication and flexibility at Sandcastles was amazing. The apartment was neat, well prepared and close to local shops.
