− Only thing we could say was when we used the washing machine for the 1st time washing came out smelling like dog . Also the cycle did not finish so washing was not spun . Till we realised that the cycle was 90 minutes and the £1 only lasted 1 hour — also the hoover smelt like damp dog . Apart from that we were happy

It was a lovely place to stay with dogs. Very welcoming and comfortable.

− I did like it but I know some of the other reviews have talked about the need for updating. Two things: one, if it were newly decorated I would have been more anxious because of the dogs and two, what do people expect for the very reasonable price? Anyway it now looks vintage! My other comment would be, if there are things you can’t live without take them with you in case. So far on this trip visiting a number of locations I have been glad I packed a travel cafetière (used at QC and previous cabin accommodation and at the luxury cottage we are at now) and wish I travelled with a small sharp cooking knife (not needed at QC but needed elsewhere). Also if the towel situation bothers you then microfibre towels from Amazon or similar are the way to go.

A wonderful little cottage in a gorgeous, quiet, hidden gem of a Welsh Village. Open fire, spacious garden and a wonderful caring host with great communication skills. The value out of Season was really quite something. Low Cost does not mean Low Quality here. Its really was a very enjoyable stay and we'd love to come back in Summer to try 'The Tub'. Marvelous. Top Marks!

− My only extra wish might have been for a coffee pot - I'll bet there was one in there and we just couldn't find it in the rush that we were in. But I'm confident the host would see this and put one in there for the next person anyway. She's really nice and runs a tight ship. We couldn't find any faults, we were too busy enjoying the open fire and the stars.
