Friendly staff, good location.

− There's no locker in the room and I couldn't close the door. So it didn't feel very safe having my stuff there. There wasn't a wardrobe or chests eighter. Bed was cracking with every movement aswell. It wasn't expensive but still could've found better for this price.

Ich habe spontan um ca. 19 Uhr eine Zusage für eine Nacht für 22 Uhr Check-in bekommen. 2-Bett-Zimmer mit geteilten Bad mit wenigen weiteren Zimmern. Wifi inklusive und, wenn man möchte, eine Decke/ Handtuch, Abholservice vom Flughafen oder auch Wäscheservice gegen Gebühr. Freundlicher Gastgeber

− Wifi hat nur unmittelbar vor dem Router im Gang funktioniert. Die Betten waren sehr laut

Trato excelente, los dueños son amables y atentos, siempre dispuestos en ayudar en lo que pueden. Ubicación excelente, muy cerca del aeropuerto, puedes ir andando, en autobús, o en taxi en muy poco tiempo, lo que da mucha tranquilidad para llegar y volver del aeropuerto. También tienes combinaciones de autobus para moverte por la isla. Los dueños disponen de otro alojamiento en Funchal, ideal si quieres conocer y moverte por Funchal, pero debes contactar previamente con ellos para saber su disponibilidad. El sitio está en un bloque de apartamentos, la zona es tranquila y segura, ambiente familiar. El apartamento es de habitaciones compartidas, hay varias habitaciones con distinta disponibilidad de camas. El baño es compartido, pero estaba limpio y acorde a su uso, todos los ocupantes de mi estancia fuimos correctos y cívicos. No hubo ningún tipo de problema en mi estancia. En mi caso compartí habitación con otro chico, más mayor, educado y amable. Igual que otro chico de mi edad que estaba en otra habitación, muy amable y atento, me encanta la facilidad de hacer nuevas amistades en estos ambientes. Animo a quien dude, que se anime a viajar, solo o con quien puedas, siempre he tenido buenas experiencias.

− Keine Küche, Better 40Euro obwohl so eng gestellt, hätte man also gut durch 3 teilen können, für das, dass man nur ein Bett und das geteilte Bad nutzen kann

It was possible to drop bags before check-in (18:00). And there were free bananas. 35 minutes by foot from the airport.

− 1. In booking confirmation it's mentioned as a double room or apartment (photo attached). Yet upon arrival the owner says that it will be a twin room SHARED WITH ANOTHER PERSON. And if you don't like it, he could cancel the reservation without fees. This is the recurring problem, as owner says it happened thrice. So it looks like he intentionally does it. Booking customer service contacted the owner couple of times but that didn't change a thing. Owner mentioned that he would try to give me the separate room if it will be available. So the room was available, but he preferred to put two persons in one room and keep one room empty. Second person was a nice guy, but he was snoring all night long. 2. No facilities such as: table, chair, wardrobe, soap in the bath. The towel is to be paid 2€. Obviously, it's not beachfront (600m to it) and it has no pools as it is written on the profile. 3. Instead of 38€ listed on booking he charged me 39,6€, explaining it as a credit card commission. 4. Mattress is horribly cheap - springs literally stamp signs on your body. The bed is squeaky - every movement is loud. THERE ARE NO BEDSHEETS OR BLANKET! 5. Whole location is full of signs that everything is prohibited - cooking, talking in the evening, throwing toilet paper etc. 6. Check out is at 10. Yet, at 9:30 owner CAME INTO MY ROOM, TOUCHED MY STUFF and said that the room is not private and that he is afraid that I will not make check out on time. 7. Every question was met with ultimatum: "if you are not happy, you can leave". Also several times the owner demanded that I am not happy with my life. Imagine hearing this as a response for the question "could I receive what I booked?" Overall, a horrible experience, full of lies and almost nothing about hospitality. Just a greedy person tries to steal your money. AVOID IT! I hope that booking.com will consider abolishing Costa from the service, as he posts direct lies.

Die Nähe zum Flughafen ist super! Auch der Strand und das Zentrum von Santa Cruz sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der Check in verlief reibungslos. Es ist relativ sauber, einfach gehalten aber für eine kurze Nacht vor dem Abflug ausreichend.

− Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht angebracht, man bekommt nur eine dünne Decke.
