My boyfriend and I had an absolutely magical weekend at this cottage! The host is incredibly sweet and friendly, making you feel like you’re visiting friends. The coziness here is off the charts, and the quality of service is top-notch. We grilled barbecue outdoors, strolled through a quiet and picturesque village, admired the adorable ponies, and enjoyed fresh pears straight from the tree. Honestly, it felt like a little adventure and a true escape from the city hustle. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature, and just soak up some peace, this is the perfect spot. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants an unforgettable weekend! A special thanks to Patricia 🙂 She truly lives for what she does and puts her heart into hosting, which makes you feel right at home 🙂

La maison est bien équipée et aménagée avec soin. La salle de bain est agréable. Les matelas sont confortables. La terrasse donne un espace supplémentaire ainsi que le petit jardin. La propriétaire (non présente) a pris plusieurs fois contact avec nous pour savoir si tout se passait bien.

− L'accès direct en voiture est rendu impossible à cause des travaux de la digue (ce n'était pas renseigné lors de la réservation). Dans la maison, pour arriver à l'étage , il vaut mieux être sportif car l'escalier est extrêmement étroit et même dangereux. Malheureusement, la vue est limitée par la digue qui surmonte le jardin.

Everything you needed for a short stay. A quiet location, nice garden; and close to the Waal for some great walks. Close enough to shops if required, but remote enough to enjoy the tranquility and real peace and quiet, in a fantastic location. The host was great, with some fantastic suggestions of what was in the local area, and where to eat etc. when we had a day visit to Utrecht, some suggestions for restaurants there as well. Knowledgeable, there if needed, but left us alone to enjoy our break.

− The stairs to the bedroom were very steep, which was difficult. Due to the riverbank work, the car was parked a littler farther away than anticipated…..so don’t put everything in a heavy suitcase! (Lesson learnt) However, this is for information and did not detract from the stay.

Het huisje is zeer rustig gelegen in een stille omgeving. Ideale plek om tot rust te komen. Het huisje bood alles wat we nodig hadden. De host (Patricia) was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er werd alles aangedaan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het respect voor privacy werd door ons zeer geapprecieerd. Dit verblijf is zeker en vast een aanrader!

Heerlijk rustig kunnen genieten van de mooie Betuwe.

Heerlijke plek, zeer rustig. Veel privacy. Mooie natuur, fijn en comfortabel huisje. Verhuurder is zeer attent en reageert snel en uitvoerig.

− Helaas voor ons wordt de dijk langs de Waal verhoogd, waardoor we niet over de dijk konden (met de auto en met de fiets), maar verhuurder heeft alle mogelijke moeite gedaan om het huisje toch bereikbaar te maken. Het was nu alleen iets verder lopen met de spullen van de auto naar het huisje, maar wel een prima tijdelijke oplossing.
