8.0It was a great location for a family event. Very spacious, with comfortable beds a great kitchen and a good outdoor space.
− As we were staying for the week, we would have liked long mirrors and coat hangers in all the bedrooms. The weather was unusually hot and a garden umbrella would have been welcomed.
Lovely property and homely however no hot water during 2-3 nights of stay and lack of heating.

− No hot water for 2/3 nights, no heating for one night then given electric heaters which didn’t heat up the whole house.
On a cold autum weekend, we were cozy and felt fully relaxed.

Lovely cottage - beware excess charge if you break a glass!
6.0Lovely, homely cottage fitted out to good standard with sea views from some bedrooms. Very quiet location!
− Pungent smell in master en-suite for the duration of our stay! The trip was soured by having £8 deducted from damages deposit when we reported that two glasses had been broken. The glasses were nothing special and could be easily replaced in a supermarket for no more than £1 each! Beware breakages if you stay here! I should add that are a respectable family group and accidents do happen, the sink had no washing up bowl and proved quite unforgiving to glassware. In view of the bad smell that we reported as an advisory on our departure you would expect the fair thing to do would waive the cost of replacing glasses. The owner did say that we should have told him about the smell and he would have sent handyman round but there are other bathrooms and as we were only there for two days seemed petty to call anyone out.
