Charming property and location with all we needed for a relaxing break.
9.0A charming cottage with spacious living areas and a very well-equipped kitchen. The location was brilliant, on the edge of Bakewell with shops on the doorstep. The garden with hot tub, sauna and fire pit was special. The sofa bed is in a lounge area but was much more bedroom-like than we’d anticipated. Great walking suggestions from the host.
− Only one shower was limiting but we knew that when booking.

10.0We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was beautiful and absolutely spotless. The hot tub and sauna was a lovely addition, and the location was perfect for exploring Bakewell and the Peak District. Having an Aldi literally opposite the cottage was so convenient and made picking up food and drinks really easy. It was peaceful, well-equipped, and felt like a real home away from home.

10.0Everything was just perfect. Cottage was so lovely and absolutely everything that you may need. It was better than what we expected. Very clean, comfortable, sauna was fabulous, proximity to shops was just a short walk, lovely outside seating with Bbq just a shame we had rain.

− It’s just off the main road and you can hear the traffic at night. So that’s the only minor negative with the location of the cottage.
